Google Reviews are the new ‘word of mouth’, or as they say in Italian ‘Passaparola! They are, indeed, an online form of passaparola: a tool for people to share their opinions, to express their personality, likes and dislikes. By capturing the spirit of three Italian cities through illustrations and local dialects, this post-lockdown campaign shows how reviews can go a long way and help small businesses get noticed.

The Writing Device

To create a sense of community, the last words spoken by one person carry on to become the first word of the next person. So reviews are like a conversation: every one becomes an inspiration for someone else’s experience to begin.
